Robert Kelly, DMD

Dr. Robert Kelley is a Periodontist born and raised in Tampa. Returning to the greater Tampa Bay area to begin his career is both exciting and deeply meaningful to him.

Dentistry has long been a part of Dr. Kelley’s life. His grandfather and three uncles are practicing dentists in the community. His own passion for periodontics began in high school when he had the opportunity to shadow his uncle and observe a Guided Bone Regeneration procedure. That experience confirmed his interest in the specialty and set him on the path toward becoming a periodontist.

Dr. Kelley earned his Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2021. He then completed a residency in periodontics at Nova Southeastern, where he developed advanced surgical skills in immediate and esthetic-zone implants, sinus augmentation, periodontal regeneration, soft tissue grafting, canine exposures, and IV sedation. His research during residency focused on implant placement with simultaneous bone regeneration.

Dr. Kelley is honored to serve the Tampa community as both a clinician and a colleague. He is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through clear communication, collaboration, and a seamless, supportive experience.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kelley enjoys spending time outdoors, running, cooking, fishing, skiing, and playing golf. He is grateful for the opportunity to join the talented team at Dental Associates of Florida and looks forward to building lasting relationships with his patients and peers.
